Using photos correctly - how to avoid copyright infringements
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has governed the handling of personal data since 2018. The consent of the persons depicted is required for photo or video recordings. In addition, the adapted data protection declaration of the University of Graz must be handed over in advance.
For the appropriate use of photos and images on websites, all files should be labelled with a title, description, keywords and copyright and saved in the new folder (_page name) in the file list. This ensures that images and documents are preserved even after publication. Please note that an author must be entered for each image and the copyright must be clarified!
Further important information on data protection can be found on the intranet.
General maintenance work is carried out on the TYPO3 system every Tuesday from 06:00 to 09:00.
