What needs to be considered for the Typo3 relaunch?

Some information has been prepared to make the changeover easier for you

Access...
...in the backend under https://webadmin.uni-graz.at/

The authorisation...
...there will be new authorisation groups! Once you have started the process for the new design, we will contact you to create the new group. For personal web presences, the authorisation group remains the same.

The page structure...
...the currently published website and the new website are listed in the same page tree. To recognise the page of the redesign, please pay attention to the page IDs. The PageID of the relaunch page is always higher than that of the currently published website.

The folder structure...
...in the file list, the new folder is created with an underline _ so that the new and old folders can be distinguished from each other. (old it, new _it)

The navigation...
...at the top horizontally is always the navigation of the university, on the left vertically is the menu of your own page.

The elements...
... are explained on the page https://typo3support.uni-graz.at/de/designmoeglichkeiten/.

Support...
...you can visit the web editorial office, there are scouts who can help you editorially to rewrite your content and integrate it into the new design.

The publication...
...When you publish the site, the news folder and, if available, the event folder and the newsletter are automatically moved to the new site and the domain is automatically changed to the address without the .neu suffix. - If you would like to publish your site, write an e-mail to servicedesk@uni-graz.at as the person responsible for the site, stating the desired date of publication, and we will discuss the next steps in a telephone call.

The publication of your personal website...
...You can publish your personal website yourself via the "Personal homepage" module in the backend, for more information see the following FAQ

The news and event addresses will change...
.../article/detail/... will be removed from the path upon publication. All news will be accessible after publication via ...uni-graz.at/neuigkeiten/titel-der-news & all events only via ..uni-graz.at/veranstaltungen/titel-der-veranstaltung. Example here: https: //climate-change.uni-graz.at/de/neuigkeiten/gebirge-im-wandel-3/

The translation...
... of German content into English is possible automatically via the Translate button - select Deepl or Google as translation tool. If fields are not yet translated - please let us know! - If you would like to create an alternative page language, this must (currently still) be requested via e-mail to the service desk.
